This helmet is the most comfortable of the Giro line. I've had the last 4 generations of Giro helmets and this one fits best. The Roc Loc 5 with it's single-handed adjustment is their best adjustment device to date. It allows clearance for long hair and cinches down easily for a comfortable fit. The weight different is not very noticible vs. the lighter weight ProLight but one can tell it offers more impact protection. The ventilation is much better than the prolight or even the Ionos. One noticeble change is the fit. They did something to the shell to accomodate the inbetween range of med and large. For once since the days of the Pneumo I have been able to comfortably fit my 7 5/8th head into a medium. It's much more low profile and lighter than the large.

This version is a unique offering and if you can afford it get it here. The team-issued one have the silkscreened logos of GARMIN and GIRO on the front that are unobtainable outside the team (unless you are lucky to have contacts). Not to mention you can't get this color scheme anywhere!
